We believe that being a global citizen is good business practice and creates long-term value for our investors. Diverse teams and experiences bring tremendous value to our firm and the real estate industry. We work to cultivate an environment rich in different backgrounds, perspectives and experiences. We share a passion to do well and do good by serving as assets in the communities where we live locally and work.
Locally: we created an internal training/mentorship program and partnership with local the non-profit, Urban Alliance (UA) to help widen the circle of opportunity in our industry. UA is the only yearlong employment program for under-resourced high school seniors in Washington, D.C., Baltimore, MD, and Chicago, IL. Our partnership with UA allows Artemis to walk the talk of our cultural values and integrate talent at every level while providing our team an opportunity to personally do well and do good by serving as mentors.
Nationally: we partner with organizations like TOIGO and SEO to provide exposure, training and mentoring opportunities to talented college students traditionally under-represented in the real estate industry.
Globally: a percentage of our profits go to Women for Women International, a non-profit that empowers the most impoverished women in war-torn countries. At Women for Women International, we have identified a ripple effect which we hope to see in our business as well – if women are given more economic opportunity they will give back and reinvest in their communities.
