Mr. Nishimura is a Senior Managing Director and sits on the Investment Committee. Mr. Nishimura is responsible for developing and implementing the acquisition and asset management activities of Artemis. He joined Artemis in May 2014 and is based in metropolitan Washington, DC.

Prior to Artemis, Mr. Nishimura was a Director supporting Deutsche Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Special Situations Group (“DB”). In his capacity as Director, Mr. Nishimura was responsible for the sourcing, evaluation and asset management of high yield debt investments for DB’s balance sheet. During his tenure, Mr. Nishimura closed more than $900 million of financings. Prior to DB, Mr. Nishimura served in a variety of roles at the J.E. Robert Companies (“JER”), including as a Director in JER's US Fund Business. In his capacity as Director, Mr. Nishimura was responsible for the evaluation, acquisition, and asset management of new investments in the US. During his tenure with JER, Mr. Nishimura managed/co-managed the acquisition of over $4 billion of new investments. Prior to JER, Mr. Nishimura worked as a financial analyst for Eichner & Norris.

Mr. Nishimura earned a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and international business from Georgetown University.
